Welcome to Lullaby AI ("we," "our," or "us"). Lullaby AI is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized bedtime stories for children. We are committed to protecting the privacy and safety of our users, especially children. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using Lullaby AI, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Child Profile: First name, age, gender, favorite animal, favorite color, optional personality traits (e.g., “Adventurous,” “Creative”), hair color, and eye color. All stored locally on your device. Used only to personalize AI-generated stories.
• Story Preferences: Theme, mood, art style, story length, and language selection — stored locally to remember your preferences.
• Parent Voice Sample (optional, Premium): A 30-second audio recording used to create a cloned narration voice via Lemonfox. See Section 4 for full details.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and crash reporting.
• Usage Data: App interaction data such as features used, session duration, and error logs to improve the App experience.
• Purchase Information: Subscription status and purchase receipts are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not collect or store payment card details.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or photos.
• We do not require account creation or signup to use the App.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate personalized, age-appropriate AI bedtime stories for your child.
• Provide text-to-speech audio narration of generated stories.
• Process and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Improve app performance, stability, and user experience.
• Provide customer support when requested.

4. AI Content Generation & Voice Cloning

Lullaby AI uses the following AI services:

• Google Gemini API generates the story text. Your child's first name, age, selected theme, mood, and preferred language are sent in real-time to create the story. These prompts are not persistently stored on our servers beyond the immediate generation request.
• OpenAI TTS narrates stories aloud using a standard preset voice. Text is sent to OpenAI and processed in real-time; audio is not stored on our servers.
• Lemonfox (voice cloning) — Premium subscribers may optionally record a 30-second voice sample to create a personal cloned voice. This sample is sent to Lemonfox to generate a private voice profile. The resulting voice ID is stored only on your device. We do not sell or share your voice data. You can delete your cloned voice at any time from the app's Settings page, which also sends a deletion request to Lemonfox.

Generated stories are saved locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not store copies of generated stories on our servers.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Lullaby AI is designed for use by parents and guardians to create stories for their children. We take children's privacy very seriously:

• The App is intended to be operated by a parent or legal guardian, not directly by children.
• We collect only the minimum information necessary (first name and age) to provide personalized stories.
• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
• We do not use collected information for behavioral advertising or any purpose unrelated to the App's core functionality.
• Parents may review, request deletion of, or refuse further collection of their child's information by contacting us.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Lullaby AI offers the following subscription options:

• Weekly Subscription ($6.99/week): Auto-renewable subscription with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, your Apple ID will be charged automatically. Subscription renews weekly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Yearly Subscription ($39.99/year): Auto-renewable subscription with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, your Apple ID will be charged automatically. Subscription renews annually unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

All payments are processed securely through Apple's App Store. We never have access to your payment card details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings at any time.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• All data transmitted between the App and our AI services is encrypted using TLS/SSL.
• Stories are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to external servers for storage.
• Subscription validation is handled through Apple's secure receipt verification system.
• We regularly review and update our security practices to protect against unauthorized access.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

• Child profile data (name, age) is stored only on your device and is deleted when you remove the profile or uninstall the App.
• Generated stories are stored locally on your device. Deleting a story or uninstalling the App permanently removes it.
• We do not retain AI prompts or generated story content on our servers.
• To request deletion of any data associated with your use of the App, please contact us at privacy@lullabyai.app.

9. Third-Party Services

Lullaby AI integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API: For AI story text generation. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI: For preset voice text-to-speech audio narration. Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Lemonfox: For parent voice cloning (Premium feature). Your voice sample and cloned voice profile are processed by Lemonfox. You may delete your cloned voice at any time in app Settings. Subject to Lemonfox's Privacy Policy.
• Apple In-App Purchase: For processing subscriptions and one-time purchases. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Analytics: Our website uses Vercel Analytics for anonymous aggregate usage metrics (page views, visitor counts). No personally identifiable information is collected.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Opt out of certain data collection practices.
• Request a copy of data we hold about you.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
